The retreat is only 20 minutes drive from the coastal resort city of Coffs Harbour and 30 minutes to sunny Sawtell. Virgin, Qantas and Jetstar airlines fly direct from Sydney, Melbourne and other major cities to Coffs Harbour daily.

An Exquisite Wedding Venue
Inspired by the haciendas of New Mexico and the seaside villas of Santorini, the artfully designed residence has an elevated position which provides glorious sunrise and sunset vistas. The beauty of the buildings and gardens, the lush rainforest, tranquil river and the peaceful hinterland location is deeply inspirational. A stunning outdoor garden wedding venue, the grounds are large enough to accommodate marquees. Luxury Villa Perfect for Short Stays
The main villa has five bedrooms and a separate guesthouse across the courtyard providing a sixth bedroom with private bathroom. A second guesthouse is located 50m away from the main villa. Fifteen people can be comfortably accommodated at the Estate.
Within the main villa, the elegant and spacious Master Suite features an adobe fireplace, sitting area, superb king-size bed and the indulgence of his and hers bathrooms and dressing rooms. There are three stylish and restful Gallery bedrooms, each featuring ultra plush queen beds with beautiful linen, reading lamps and plenty of cupboard space. Located above the living area is the perfect teenagers’ retreat, called the Attic, which has three king single beds. The main bathroom boasts a beautiful antique clawfoot bath, Moroccan-style rainshower and French doors to enjoy views of the tropical gardens whilst bathing.
Linen and towels are provided, as are basic pantry items and household goods to ensure a carefree start to your holiday.
Golfing Getaway or Family Holiday
Creative cooks will love the superbly equipped kitchen with its twin ovens, wok burner, hot rock grill, expansive breakfast bar and coffee machine. Just outside the kitchen door is a delightful herb garden and a citrus orchard provides delicious oranges, lemons and grapefruit for winter juicing. Enjoy dining outdoors by candlelight on the timber verandah, or beneath the stars on the flagstone courtyard. On crisp autumn nights gather together by a glowing log fire in the rustic fire-pit hut overlooking the valley.
The valley itself offers pristine freshwater swimming holes and you can explore the subtropical forests of the Bindarri National Park. Revel in the crisp air and cooling waters of this magical location. The property has extensive river frontage only a short walk from the house, with places to swim, paddle your canoe or try your hand at fishing for bass or spotting platypus. Orara Valley Estate is a pleasant 20 minute drive from the coastal resort city of Coffs Harbour on the North Coast of New South Wales. Surfing, deep sea fishing, whale watching, scuba diving in the Solitary Islands Marine Reserve, National Parks, Bonville International Golf Course and the Pet Porpoise Pool are some of the major attractions of this scenic sub-tropical area.
